Nalle is ready to go back to Finland!

Nalle is ready to go home tomorrow. He is very exited to go to Finland. He is all packed up and you will receive him soon!

Nalle on valmis aloittamaan kotimatkan huomenna. Häntä jännittää tulla takaisin Suomeen. Hänet on jo pakattu ja saatte hänet takaisin pian!

King Spot-a-lot Spike's family is desperate for him to come home! We hope to see him soon.

Spiken perhe odottaa jo saavansa Spiken kotiin! Toivottavasti näemme pian.

Victorian Day

Last Wednesday we had a Victorian day and we dressed up as Victorian children. We went to St. Anne’s chapel where a Victorian teacher taught us. Victorians lived around the 19^th century.  The Victorian teacher showed us what they found behind the plank of wood on the roof. There were papers with writing on that were meant go to their parents. It was really fun being Victorians. We waited for the teacher to come in and we through the paper darts at the teacher. It was hilarious and we had so much fun.

Viime keskiviikkona meillä oli viktoriaaninen päivä ja pukeuduimme kuten viktoriaanisen ajan lapset. Menimme Pyhän Annan kappeliin, jossa viktoriaaninen opettaja opetti meitä. Kuningatar Viktorian ajan ihmiset elivät noin 1800-luvulla. Viktoriaaninen opettaja näytti meille, mitä he olivat löytäneet kattohirren takaa. Siellö oli papereita, joiden oli ollut tarkoitus mennä oppilaiden kotiin. Oli hauskaa olla viktoriaaninen aikalainen. Odotimme opettajan tuloa ja heitimme häntä paperilennokeilla. Se oli hilpeää ja meillä oli hauskaa.

Nalle's fun Maths Day

On Thursday we went to Park School for a Maths Day.
First Nalle and Anna went into the main hall and built a roman catapult using wood, straw and duct tape. Nalle was very excited! He even shot it really far.

Torstaina menimme toiselle koululle Matematiikkapäivää varten. Ensin Nalle ja Anna menivät saliin ja rakensivat katapultin käyttäen puuta, olkia ja ilmastointiteippiä. Nalle oli innoissaan! Hän sinkosi pitkälle.

Here we have Abi and Anna building the catapult and the teacher is helping them. Tässä on Abi ja Anna rakentamassa katapulttia ja opettaja auttamassa heitä.

 In the afternoon we all went into the assembly hall. We met
a woman from Happy Puzzle Company and we got illusioned.

Iltäpäivällä menimme kaikki saliin. Tapasimme naisen järjestöstä nimeltään Happy Puzzle Company ja näimme hassuja näkyjä tuijotettuamme keskellä olevaa mustavalkoista rengasta.

Then we  had to build a road but the catch was that the road couldn't have dead ends. Nalle built most of it because he is so clever.
Sitten meidän piti rakentaa tie, jossa ei saanut olla umpikujia. Malle rakensi suurimman osan, koska on niin etevä.

Last of all we had Abi and Anna and Molly and they have finished building one of the puzzels and Nalle is in the backround.

Lopuksi Abi, Anna ja Molly saivat palapelin valmiiksi ja Nalle on taustalla.

Skipping Workshop

Today we had a skipping work shop. We did lots of exercise and we learnt lots of skipping tricks and skills. At the end of school day we had a skipping assembly where everyone cold show what they had learnt.

Tänään meillä oli koulussa hyppynarutyöpaja. Me harjoittelimme ja opimme paljon uusia hyppynarutemppuja ja -taitoja. Koulupäivän päättyessä meillä oli hyppynarutapahtuma, jossa jokainen pääsi näyttämään mitä oli oppinut.

Abigail and Nalle

First me and Nalle walked home. When we got home we had some dinner. Nalle couldn't eat it all but he said that mum's cooking was really good. 

Ensin minä ja Nalle kävelimme kotiin. Kun saavuimme kotiin, söimme ruoan. Nalle ei jaksanut syödä kaikkea, mutta hän sanoi, että äitin kokkaa hyvää ruokaa.

"Night, night ", said Nalle as I tucked him into bed. The next morning Nalle woke me up and screamed "It's holiday time!", he was really excited.

"Öitä", sanoi Nalle kun peittelin hänet petiin. Seuraavana aamuna Nalle herätti minut ja huusi "Nyt on loma!". Hän oli todella innoissaan.

We got up, got dressed and ran into the car. On the way me and Nalle got quite bored so we decided to eat some sweets and play on the Nintendo D.S. Then we entered Exeter and went to Toys R Us. Nalle had an awesome time.

Nousimme ylös, pukeuduimme ja juoksimme autoon. Matkalla minä ja Nalle olimme ikävystyneitä joten päätimme syödä karkkia ja pelata Nintendoa. Saavuimme Exeteriin ja menimme lelukauppaan nimeltään Toys R Us. Nallella oli kivaa.

Nalle went into the taxi. He was taking passengers here and there and everywhere. He was very, very tired afterwards. But he was still willing to play a bit of golf.

Nalle meni taxiin. Hän otti asiakkaita sieltä täältä. Hän oli hyvin, hyvin väsynyt jälkeenpäin. Mutta siltikin hän halusi pelata golfia.

Nalle said "That water fall is very pretty". Nalle sanoi: "Tämä vesiputous on oikein nätti."

"Hole in one !!!!!!!!!". He got about two whole in ones and about 4,5 or 6 shots on the other wholes. "Hole in one!!!!!!!" Hän teki kaksi hole-in-onea ja 4,5 tai 6 lyöntiä muilla rei'illä.

After golf we had dinner and went to the arcade. Nalle enjoyed the arcade a lot. After the arcade we went back to the caravan, watched a movie and went to bed.

Golfauksen jälkeen söimme illallista ja menimme pelipaikalle. Sen jälkeen menimme meidän karavaaniin, katsoimme elokuvan ja menimme sänkyyn.

Nalle and the puppies

I took Nalle to my nan's and grandad's house to see my dogs and to see some new puppies. Nalle loved the puppies! The puppies were only a couple weeks old and they had not yet opened their eyes. 

Vein Nallen mummoni ja ukkini luokse katsomaan koiriani ja uusia pentuja. Nalle rakasti pentuja! Koiranpennut olivat vain muutaman viikon ikäisiä eivätkä olleet vielä avanneet silmiään. 

Nalle was a bit scared of Tigerlily who is their big sister!
Nalle oli pelkäsi hieman Tigerlilya, joka on pentujen isosisko!

World Book Day

 On Thursday 7th of March we celebrated the World Book Day.
We have World Book Day every year. We can dress up as our favourite book characters. There were some amazing costumes! The most popular book characters came from the book Diary of the Wimpy Kid.

Torstaina 7. maaliskuuta vietimme Maailman kirjapäivää. Vietämme sitä joka vuosi. Voimme pukeutua suoksikkihahmoiksemme lempikirjastamme. Osalla oli tosi hienoja asuja! Suosikeiksi osoittautui Neropatin päiväkirjan hahmot.
